»Truth through rose-colored glasses: An artist duo travels through Switzerland and Japan. Photographically, Gen Atem and Miriam Bossard capture "situations, people or objects" and discover that personal perception can create their own interpretations of the truth. Back in their Zurich studio, the artists arranged their collection into six series of works or "Six Perspectives on Truth", as they call it themselves. Then they sprayed over the photo prints – laying layers and veils over their observations – sometimes large and wild, sometimes subtle and quiet. The effect is reminiscent of the "pink glasses" that make the world of lovers seem softer. The color veil over the photographs relativizes the truth or creates it anew.«
